Actor Jung Hae-in embraced his first Blue Dragon Film Awards trophy of his life.
Jung Hae-in won the Best Supporting Actor award for ‘I, The Executioner’ at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 29th.
When his name was called, Jung Hae-in shared his joy with ‘I, The Executioner’ director Ryoo Seung-wan and CEO Kang Hye-jung, then took the stage and smiled brightly, saying, “I didn’t have high expectations because you get disappointed when you expect too much. But I’m so happy to receive this award.”
He continued, “I remember the moment when I presented an award with senior Hwang Jung-min at the Blue Dragon Film Awards two years ago. At that time, he said to me, ‘Are you possessed by Satan?’ I think that might have been the case. There were many intense and difficult moments with him on the ‘I, The Executioner’ set, but I endured thanks to him. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to him.”
