2023 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards 5 wins
The 44th Cheongryong Film Awards ceremony was held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, on the afternoon of April 24, hosted by actors Kim Hye-soo and Yoo Yeon-seok.
The night’s Best Picture honor went to Ryu Seung-wan’s Smuggling.
Director Ryu Seung-wan, his wife, production company CEO Kang Hye-jung, Vice President Cho Sung-min, and lead actors Jo In-sung, Park Jung-min, and Go Go-shi received the awards on stage.
Jo In Sung won the Supporting Actor and Popular Star awards, and Go Kom Si won the Rookie of the Year award.
Singer Jang Ji-ha took home five awards, including the music award for smuggling.
The producers of Smuggled expressed their gratitude after winning the trophy.
“We will do our best to continue to show good movies to the audience,” they said.
