August Comedy Comeback with 'The Devil Moved In'
Leading Actress and Producer from the 9.42 Million Hit 'EXIT'
Actress Lim Yoon-a and Director Ryoo Seung-wan have thrown their hat in the ring for summer theaters with a unique comedy film. This reunion of the box office duo, who successfully drew 9.42 million audiences in the summer of 2019, promises a powerful comedy to beat the summer heat.
The film ‘The Devil Moved In,’ starring Lim Yoon-a and Ahn Bo-hyun, is coming to audiences in August. This is a fresh comedy film by Director Lee Sang-geun, who achieved a remarkable 9 million success with his debut work ‘EXIT.’ It tells the extraordinary story of Seon-ji, who awakens as a devil every dawn, and Gil-gu, a young unemployed man who takes on the part-time job of monitoring her. Lim Yoon-a plays Seon-ji who becomes a devil, while Ahn Bo-hyun plays Gil-gu who takes on this extraordinary part-time job.
‘The Devil Moved In’ is also drawing attention as a so-called dream team reunion. Production was handled by Oeyu Naeganghan, the film company led by Director Ryoo Seung-wan and CEO Kang Hye-jung. Director Ryoo, Lim Yoon-a, and Director Lee Sang-geun are already recognized as box office partners who collaborated on ‘EXIT.’ This film has been drawing attention even before filming as a reunion of the producer, director, and actress following ‘EXIT,’ and hot interest is focusing even more as the release approaches. The production team targets audiences with “a devil-possessed comedy containing a soul-shaking story.”
